How To Measure Your Watch Lug Width For A New Strap
This is one of the most important things you must do before choosing your new Max Watch Strap.
You may be able to find your watch lug width online by checking the manufacture website or by searching watchbase.com. If you can't find your watch lug width online, we recommend you do it yourself.
It's easy when you know how!
What is the lug width?
This is the distance between the two points where the watch strap fits. If you didn't know already, this width is measured in millimetres. The most common sizes are 20mm or 22mm.
Where do I measure?
Measure the distance inside the lugs, not outside! There are many lug lengths, so make sure you measure correctly to the millimetre.
Simple Steps to measure your lug length
- Remove the old watch strap and springs using a small screwdriver or watch tool.
- Find yourself a ruler or vernier that has millimetres
- Using the ruler or vernier measure the width inside the lugs.
